ART WORKSHOP
Roll a Monster: A Create-a-Creature Drawing Experience
Saturday, April 21

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Join museum educator and illustrator Patrick O’Donnell for a fun-filled day of drawing activities that will inspire students to create their own fantastical creatures. With the roll of the dice, a game and feature table will randomly determine the traits of our “monsters,” which will encourage the development of a truly unique character design that would be at home in any fantasy world. This lively program is recommended for ages 8 to 13.

Land Acknowledgement

It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people, who are the indigenous peoples of this land on which the Norman Rockwell Museum was built. Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
