WHAT: Celebrate the creative talent on display from Berkshire County high schools. Original works in all media—from painting and drawing to photography, ceramics, three-dimensional assemblage, and digital art—will be on view. Participating schools include: Drury High School, Wahconah Regional High School, Mt Everett Regional High School, Mt Mountain Regional High School, Mt Greylock Regional High School, Miss Hall’s High School, Lenox Memorial Middle High School, John Dewey Academy, Pittsfield High School, Berkshire Waldorf High School, BArT and 6 independent study students. Artist Wendell Minor will give brief remarks and a book signing will follow.

Students and their families will receive free admission while the exhibition is on view. Kids and teens under 18 receive free admission year-round.

WHY: In the tradition of Norman Rockwell, who began his professional career as a teenager, the High School Art Show celebrates student artists found in Berkshire County’s local high schools.

WHEN: Opening party Saturday, February 1, 2 – 4 p.m. remarks from artist Wendell Minor at 2:30 p.m. On view February 1 through March 7, 2020. Included with Museum admission.

WHERE: Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, MA

ADMISSION: The High School Art Show is included with Museum admission. The Museum will be open and free to student artists and their families on Saturday, February 1. Student artists and their families will receive complimentary access to the High School Art Show while it’s on view, general Museum admission not included; children & teens, teachers, and EBT cardholders are always free.
