Curious George, the beloved irrepressible monkey of w and television fame is famous for his ability to “save the day.” Interpreting the role he played in safeguarding his creators in times of danger as symbolic, this exhibition recounts how this popular character came to be, and explores the lives and works of Margret and H. A. Rey, who fled Paris in 194o with an original Curious George manuscript in their suitcase.
