WOODSTOCK50 Day 1: Peace, Love and Family Fun

10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All activities are included with admission; Free for kids/teens except where noted.

All Day Activities:
• Make a giant Peace sidewalk mural
• Picnic lunch on the lawn… bring your own or purchase picnic-ready meals from Runaway Café- borrow a basket and blanket!

Today’s Schedule:
10  – 11:30 a.m.
     Draw In! Sketch a Yellow Submarine (children $8, Members $5.)
12 – 1:00 p.m.          Face Painting on the Terrace
2 and 3 p.m.             Woodstock to the Moon exhibition Gallery Talks
3 – 6 p.m.                  Far-out VR (Virtual Reality)

 

FAMILY NIGHT – Peace, Love and Family Fun #Woodstock50

All Evening Activities:
• Wear your Groovy 60s fashion for photo ops and prizes
• Human Peace sign photo op
• Free popsicles, while they last!
• Make a giant Peace sidewalk mural
• Scavenger Hunts

This Evening’s Schedule:
5 – 6 p.m. 
Make a flower chain hair band
5 – 6 p.m.  
Far-out VR (Virtual Reality)
5 – 7 p.m.  Move and Groove with Moving Arts- and inspiration from The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine

Land Acknowledgement

It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people, who are the indigenous peoples of this land on which the Norman Rockwell Museum was built. Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
