Make Visual Stories with Artist Melanie Mowinski
Community Art Project and Festival – Steamroller Art
Saturday, May 2*,
10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m
.

What is steamroller art? In a morning workshop, make a linoleum cut of an image that represents home. In the afternoon, linoleum cuts made on site will be combined with those from high school, college students, and community members over the course of the Finding Home exhibit. Printing on Tyvek we’ll steamroll print a large scale mural to be displayed on the Museum grounds for the remainder of the exhibit. The Town of Stockbridge is lending their three-ton steamroller to serve as our printing press! The mural will hang on the Museum grounds through the end of the Finding Home exhibit.

Free for members, children/teens 18 and under, or included with admission.
*In case of rain, check NRM.org for updates.
