Illustrating Licensed Characters with Artist Tom La Padula

Explore the world of licensed character illustration as a potential business opportunity with Tom La Padula, a noted artist/educator who has created books and other products incorporating popular licensed properties. Thomas the Tank Engine, The Powerpuff Girls, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Fairly Odd Parents, Tonka Trucks, and others, are among his well-known subjects. In addition, La Padula has illustrated for national magazines, advertising agencies, and publishing houses, and is a professor of art at Pratt Institute, where he serves as coordinator of the BFA Illustration Program. $20, $15 members.
