Stockbridge, MA, October 15, 2018—Norman Rockwell Museum will present a digital painting workshop on Saturday, October 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. Gaming artist and Museum educator Patrick O’Donnell will explore the step-by-step process used in creating digital artworks in Adobe Photoshop. Participants will learn how to gather reference, match color and collage, and the methods used to design seamless virtual scenes. Admission to the workshop costs $20, $15 for Museum members. Patrick O’Donnell, an illustrator and video game artist, is Norman Rockwell Museum’s Manager of Education and Outreach. Trained at the Savannah College of Arts and Design and The Massachusetts College of Art, Mr. O’Donnell has worked for such clients as Home Box Office, The Discovery Channel, and Rocketmind, LLC, Video Game Company. His skills include digital matte painting, concept art, logo and graphic design. In addition to the Museum, O’Donnell has taught at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Berkshire Community College, and IS183 of The Berkshires. Learn more at: www.patodonnellart.com
