A new exhibition explores the breadth of this true American master’s inspired career, from his earliest New Yorker cartoons to his buoyant magazine covers and brilliantly funny reflections on love and life, beautifully juxtaposed with the artistry of Jeanne Steig.
This afternoon, Director/CEO Laurie Norton Moffatt and I had the priviledge of visiting with award-winning illustrator and educator Murray Tinkelman, who also just happens to be a recently-inducted member of the Museum’s Board of Trustees. An extraordinary artist and a collector himself, he and wife Carol treated us to an inspiring tour of his home and studio, which were filled with eclectic personal mementos and beloved artworks and artifacts.

Norman Rockwell Museum Director/CEO Laurie Norton Moffatt has been invited by the Roosevelt Institute of New York City, New York, to join the American delegation to the 2010 International Four Freedoms Award ceremonies, to be held in Amsterdam and Middelburg, The Netherlands, from May 26 through 29, 2010.
