Group Tour Information
Norman Rockwell Museum in historic Stockbridge, Massachusetts, is one of the most popular New England destinations for groups. The Museum holds the largest and most significant collection of original Rockwell art. Highlights include enduring favorites from Rockwell’s Saturday Evening Post covers and the powerful Four Freedoms paintings.
Continually changing, the galleries present an illustrated chronicle of American life and our nation’s ideals of tolerance, kindness, democracy, and freedom, as illuminated by Rockwell’s wisdom and gentle humor. The Museum also features lively special exhibitions of works by American illustrators past and present.
A visit to Norman Rockwell Museum is an enriching and memorable experience for groups. Enjoy our 10 large galleries, gift shop, and beautiful 36-acre campus featuring Rockwell’s original studio, as well as sculptures by his son Peter Rockwell.
The Museum welcomes groups of 15 or more at a discounted admission rate, with complimentary admission for your group leader and driver.
- Adult groups: $14.00 per person for groups that pay in full on or before arrival. $14.50 for groups that wish to be invoiced.
- College groups $10.00 per person.
- Camp groups $4 per person.

Guided tours of the Museum can be arranged for an additional fee. Groups should allow approximately two hours for their visit. The Museum provides wheelchairs, strollers, and lockers free of charge. The Museum building is fully accessible and air-conditioned. There is ample free parking for buses and vans. Guided tours are a wonderful way to deepen your group’s visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum. Select from the menu below or allow us to create a custom tour for your group. Highlights of the Collection Tour
Enjoy a specialized one-hour tour led by your own Museum guide. Investigate artworks on view in the Norman Rockwell permanent collection galleries or the exciting world of illustration in the changing exhibition galleries. Guides will inspire interactive discussion with the group. Fee: $100.00 first group of 25pp. $75.00 additional groups of 25pp per visit plus Museum Group Admission.
Site Walk & Talk Tour
Explore the stunning grounds of Norman Rockwell Museum—36 acres of scenic Berkshire landscape. Your tour includes Rockwell’s Studio, the Peter Rockwell sculpture walk, and the Linwood mansion. Your guide will give an overview of the site and share its rich and colorful history. Approximately 45 minutes, non-strenuous. Fee: $100.00 first group of 45pp. $75.00 additional groups of 25pp per visit plus Museum Group Admission.
Highlight Tour & Model Citizens
Give your group the opportunity to find out what it was like to pose for America’s favorite illustrator by combining a Highlight Tour with a talk by one of Rockwell’s models. Subject to availability. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Fee: $135.00 first group of 25pp. $100.00 additional groups of 25pp per visit plus Museum Group Admission.
Highlight Tour & Art Workshop
Combine a Highlights of the Collection Tour with a customized Art Workshop suited to your group’s interests and experience. Scenic outdoor classes available, weather permitting. All materials provided. Typically 2-3 hours in length. Subject to availability. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Fee: $15 per person plus Museum Group Admission.
Curator’s Tour $175.00 per hour
Audio Guide
Learn about the Museum’s collection from Peter Rockwell, Norman Rockwell’s youngest son, and other friends of the Museum. Our award-winning audio tour explores the themes of Rockwell’s paintings and the importance of his work within American art, history, and culture. A great way to enhance your group’s visit. Fee: $4 per person plus Group Museum Admission.
Spend the day at the Museum! Norman Rockwell Museum can arrange for a variety of different dining experiences and events to meet your group’s needs. Please contact us at least 14 days prior to your visit.
The Terrace Café
Our tented Terrace overlooks the Museum’s beautiful grounds and has seating capacity for up to 120 people. A selection of prepackaged sandwiches, salads, fruit, snacks, desserts, soft drinks, and hot beverages prepared by the renowned Red Lion Inn are available in the Terrace Café. Prices vary depending on selection. Reserved seating for groups is possible based on availability.
Picnic in a Bag
Groups can reserve a Picnic in a Bag, which includes choice of sandwich, fruit, Norman Rockwell’s Favorite Oatmeal Cookie, and bottled water. $12.00 per person. Click here to view the Picnic in a Bag menu.

The Museum accepts cash, checks, American Express, Master Card, and Visa as forms of payments for groups. Payment is due the day of the visit in one complete sum; invoice option available for extra fee. No deposit is required. There is no cancellation fee, but the Museum asks that you call to cancel a group no later than the day before.

The Museum is open daily except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
November through April:
weekdays, 10am–4pm
weekends and holidays, 10am–5pm
Norman Rockwell’s Studio is open seasonally May through October.
