FAMILY DAY
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Creation of a Classic
Sunday, June 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A special Family Day to celebrate the artistry of Walt Disney’s first feature-length animated film. The story of this hallmark film’s development will be told through the original drawings and paintings, animation cells, props, costumes, and clips that will be on view. Free with admission, members free.
Rockwell Models Reunion Day
Saturday, July 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us for this special day honoring the important role that models played in Norman Rockwell’s art. Models who appear in favorite Rockwell paintings and ad campaigns will be with us to share their experiences during this day of talks, panel discussions, signings, and art making for all. Free with Museum admission.
Summer Sketch Club

from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
For ages 7 and up
Enjoy this lively on-location drawing and painting class that encourages self-expression and experimentation. Bring a sketchbook or drawing pad; other art supplies are provided. Class is outdoors, weather permitting; bring bottled water, insect repellent, hats, and sunscreen. Take one class or take them all!
$6, $4 members.
Creating Together: A Parent-Child Experience

from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
For children ages 4 and up and their parents/caregivers
Children and their parents/caregivers are invited to explore the galleries together during this interactive art experience. A lively look at the works on view will inspire personal artworks created with a variety of materials and techniques. Take one class or take them all! $6 per person, $4 members.

Animate your images! Character design, storyboard illustration, and computer animation will be a part of this exciting exploration of the moving image and the world of digital animation with accomplished cartoonist/animator Scott Lincoln. $175, $150 members. Extended day until 5pm, $50 per week.
