Celebrate the art of Murray Tinkelman, an award-winning artist who has received illustration’s highest honors over the course of his exceptional six decade career. His beautifully rendered pen and ink drawings have appeared in many publications including the Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, and he has also been commissioned to create numerous artworks for The National Park Service and The U.S. Air Force. A renowned illustration historian, Murray is also a dedicated educator who has inspired generations of illustrators. Baseball, rodeos, classic cars, Native American culture, Coney Island, and other themes that inspire the artist’s passionate, life-long interest in the world around him will be reflected in the works on view.
