Spring has sprung early, with temperatures expected to hit the mid-70s this week! It’s a perfect time to stroll around our grounds and look for the flowers starting to bloom. Exhibitions and events inside of the Museum are looking just as lively this week.

In addition to our new Distinguished Illustrators exhibition, Everett Raymond Kinstler: Pulps to Portraits, the Museum is also pleased to present Curator’s Choice: Recent Acquisitions from the Norman Rockwell Museum Collection, an exhibition of recently gifted art, including works by such noted illustrators as James Montgomery Flagg and Al Parker. We are grateful to the collectors who have established this important legacy by making these important artworks available for study and public enjoyment.

Upcoming events at Norman Rockwell Museum include our Moving Pictures: The Art of Animation after-school program (Wednesday, March 21, 3:15 p.m.), and our ongoing Sunday Sketchbook: Drawing in the Galleries series, to be held on Sunday, March 25, 1 p.m.

Don’t forget our special online auction, offering you the unique opportunity to win your own custom-made, painted portrait by artist Everett Raymond Kinstler. Visit nrm.org/auction for more details.

We look forward to seeing you soon at Norman Rockwell Museum!
